"My Roots are a pride for me and I have always materialized the memories and recollections of my childhood in my kitchen. Having spent my childhood around coffee plantations in Fredonia (Antioquia) with my grandfather, taught me the value of coffee for our culture and inspired me to sound a lifetime of producing a coffee that had the ElCielo stamp. I dreamed of a coffee that not only represented my roots but also my values and principles through my culinary vision. In Café Matiz I found the perfect partner, with the same levels of excellence, quality and social responsibility that have always characterized me and a true gourmet coffee expert with whom I could make my dream come true.”
Together, we embarked on the mission of developing a gourmet coffee that would bring my essence and aspirations to life. Together, we developed a coffee of origin with the best gourmet beans, the roasting and precise grinding that gives it a unique flavor that reflects my gastronomic vision; we developed the first gourmet signature coffee. A socially responsible coffee, grown in the Farallones del Citará, Antioquia and processed with the highest quality standards of Matiz.
